Ashdown police are investigating a stabbing and shooting that happened early Wednesday morning in the 500 block of S. Park Ave. Officers responded to a disturbance call and later found a victim at Little River Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 49-year-old Maurice Price of Ashdown. Price is wanted for first-degree battery and is considered armed and dangerous.
Police urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Ashdown Police Department at (870) 898-5640 or 911. Anonymous tips are also accepted.
