The Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Atlanta District has received the 2024 Texas Bluebonnet Safety Award for its outstanding safety record.
District Engineer Rebecca Wells and Safety Officer J.J. Singleton accepted the award from TxDOT Executive Director Marc Williams and former Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Texas President Wade Miller during a December ceremony in Austin.
“Safety is our top priority every day,” said Wells. “We are proud to have completed 2024 with no injuries, no incidents, and no lost time.”
The Texas Bluebonnet Safety Award recognizes organizations that take proactive steps to achieve zero incidents. TxDOT and AGC of Texas evaluate safety records and compare them to similar organizations before selecting recipients.
