Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – The City and Borough of Juneau has closed all of its offices and facilities today due to the continuing winter storm affecting the Juneau area.
The Juneau School District has transitioned to remote learning for the second day in a row. All in-person classes, activities, RALLY, and meetings have been canceled.
Additionally, all state executive branch offices in Juneau and Douglas are closed due to the winter storm. The Department of Transportation has closed Thane road since 8 PM Monday. DOT will evaluate the road at 8 AM.
