Fireside Lecture-Co-stewardship in the Tlingit Aaní

Jeremy Timoth from Tlingit and Haida Central Council manages the Cultural Ambassador Program at Áak’w T’áak Sít’ (Mendenhall Glacier), and he will share with us the history of the Tlingit people and their co-existence with other governments on their ancestral Tlingit Aaní (land). Jeremy will then describe the new co-stewardship agreement between Tlingit and Haida Central Council and the USDA/Forest Service and the ways in which we work to manage and preserve our amazing treasure.
