A Little River County man and a Texarkana woman are facing felony charges after the alleged abuse of the woman’s toddler son.
Bobby Kyle Gibson, 29, was arrested on Christmas Day and is being held in the Little River County jail on a charge of injury to a child. He also faces charges of injury to a child and child endangerment from the Texarkana Texas Police Department (TTPD), which has placed a hold on him.
The child’s mother, Kelsey Allgor, 26, was arrested Friday in Dallas on a warrant for injury to a child.
TTPD officers responded to an apartment complex on Christmas Day after reports of an injured child. The investigation revealed that the injuries were caused by Gibson, the mother’s boyfriend, and occurred in Little River County. The abuse is believed to have started in November and included incidents in Texarkana, Texas.
