Texarkana Police arrested 33-year-old Demarqeyun Cox yesterday after he allegedly damaged multiple Tesla vehicles across the city. Surveillance video first captured him ramming a parked Tesla with a mini four-wheeler outside Golden Palace on Summerhill Road. While officers searched for him, another damaged Tesla was reported at Lowe’s.
Officer Blake Lummus later spotted Cox near Summerhill and New Boston Roads. He gave a false name but was quickly identified and arrested. After his arrest, another damaged Tesla was reported at Genesis Prime Care.
Cox faces a felony Criminal Mischief charge, and more charges may follow. He’s being held at Bi-State Jail as the investigation continues.
