Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – Following the winter storm, the Mendenhall Mall has chosen to temporarily close today due to heavy snow accumulation on its roof. This is being done to safely remove the snow and reduce any potential hazards from it.
Juneau schools are back to in-person teaching today meaning classes, RALLY, activities, and meetings are all in person. School buses are on winter routes today with service being unavailable for Engineers Cutoff or Thane.
Capital Transit is on snow routes today. City offices and facilities are open as well as state executive branch offices.
