Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – CBJ Streets & Fleets Maintenance will perform snow removal operations in the downtown Douglas area from 6 p.m. tonight, Sunday, Jan. 21 through 8 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 22.
Snow removal will focus on 2nd Street.
Residents and vehicle owners on these streets are asked to move their vehicles in advance of this work so that snow can be cleared as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Vehicles left on the street will impact operations and cause delays in the snow removal process.
Residents are welcome to park vehicles in the Savikko Park lot while snow removal is underway.
