Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – Eaglecrest Ski Area is applying for a City Project Review & Conditional Use Permit (concurrently) to develop several amenities, including the following:
- Gondola with base station, upper station, and supporting structures
- “Summit House” warming hut
- Construction access roads
- Mountain bike trails
- Two Upper Fish Creek bridge crossings (each approx. 40 feet in length)
- Picnic pavilion near Cropley Lake
- Snow tubing park
Both applications will be heard by the CBJ Planning Commission at the Regular Planning Commission Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Assembly Chambers.

The public may participate in person or via Zoom webinar. Members of the public are encouraged to send their written comments in advance of the meeting to PC_Comments@juneau.gov. The deadline to submit written comments is noon Friday, Feb. 23.
