Sitka, Alaska (KINY) – The Sitka Police Department has provided a crime bulletin for February 9th through the 12th.
February 9th
A caller reported a disturbance on Katlian Street. SPD responded and the individuals were separated. Sitka police classified the incident as ‘ASSAULT – INTIMIDATION (INCLUDES STALKING)’.
February 12th
On 02/12/2024 at approximately 1:28 AM, the Sitka Police Department received a report of an unresponsive elderly female in her home. The elderly female was pronounced deceased after emergency responders arrived. The investigation determined the death was of natural causes. No foul play is suspected.
