Texarkana College now ranks first in Texas for 3- and 6-year completion rates and is in the top 10 for 4-year completion, according to a state report.
President Dr. Jason Smith calls it a remarkable achievement, crediting faculty and staff for their dedication. TC’s 3-year completion rate is 53.9%, well above the state average of 30.3%.
Vice President Dr. Dixon Boyles says strong faculty support keeps students on track. He adds that higher graduation rates boost the local economy by creating a stronger workforce.
