The Texarkana Public Library now has a self-service computer kiosk to help residents apply for jobs and benefits. No library card is needed—just walk in and use it to search for jobs, complete applications, and apply for food, childcare, or unemployment assistance.

Library Director Olivia Poulton says it’s already making a difference, with one person using it within 30 minutes of installation. Workforce Solutions Northeast Texas, which operates the kiosk, has five locations across its nine-county service area to expand access to these resources.
