The City of Texarkana, Texas Bowie County Family Health Clinic will host the Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, May 7th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Southwest Center located at 3222 W 7th Street.
This free, family-friendly event aims to connect the community with valuable healthcare resources by offering access to a variety of local and regional vendors. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in free wellness screenings, including blood pressure and glucose checks, as well as take advantage of other available services. A blood donation drive will also be held for those interested in giving back and supporting those in need.
Kelly Brush, Health Department Manager, is excited for another year of meeting residents and providing access to valuable health resources.
“The Health and Wellness Fair is an excellent opportunity for community members to explore resources that promote healthier lifestyles and gain access to important health screenings,” said Brush. “We encourage individuals and families of all ages to attend and take advantage of the services offered.”
Local and regional vendors are encouraged to reserve their booth space as soon as possible. Rather than charging a booth fee, vendors are asked to provide a door prize that will be raffled off to attendees throughout the event.
