The Texas High School Tiger Marching Band has been selected to participate in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington D.C. on January 20th. This prestigious invitation, extended by the Presidential Inaugural Committee, is the result of months of hard work led by Mr. Jason Carter. The band will depart Texarkana on January 18th, and the parade is expected to attract up to 900,000 spectators, with millions more watching on TV. The band will also visit historic sites like Mount Vernon and Arlington National Cemetery before returning on January 23rd. Donations to support the band’s trip are welcome.
