ANCHORAGE — Federal agents have charged three Alaska men in a sweeping child exploitation sting that spanned the nation.
Arrests in Kenai, Utqiagvik, and Anchorage were part of Operation Restore Justice, a five-day series of arrests that rescued 115 children and took down 205 suspected predators.
According to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice, in Alaska, one man is accused of buying child abuse material, another of producing it, and a third, who was caught in California, of receiving it.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi says prosecutors won’t cut deals and vowed to hunt down every offender.
The FBI’s Anchorage office coordinated the Alaska arrests, backed by Alaska State Troopers and local police.
